Stansted Airport

Stansted Airport is only 8 miles away and flies to many national and international destinations.

The Imperial War Museum

The Imperial War Museum, Duxford is only 8 miles away and has a vast array of aviation and other military exhibitions, and also holds several air shows each year.

Audley End House

Audley End House is located 2 miles away and is a 15th Century Stately home whose building and magnificent gardens are open to the public. It hosts many events throughout the year and is well worth a visit.

London Olympics 2012

The Olympics is coming soon to London and the Toll House will provide easy access to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford either by road (M11 junction 8 is about 6 miles away), rail Newport Station takes you to Liverpool Street, and offers a haven of tranquillity at the end of your day. Essex is the official home of the Mountain bike event (though we have yet to find the mountain!) 

The Olympic torch carrier is passing by the house on July 7th 2012.

The O2 arena for concerts etc, is just as easily accessed, as are days out in London and Cambridge.
